Plan-B racing was set up in 2001 by a group of 5 friends disillusioned with the local cycling scene.
The main ethos of the team back then is the same as it is today 
- to provide cycling opportunities for all -
a vision that has seen the membership grow to around 30.

Members have enjoyed enormous success on the road with several riders representing Great Britain and Wales as well many victories in Plan-B colours. 

Recognition of this vision was given in 2002 when Plan-B were awarded an Awards For All Lottery grant to further develop cycling in and around Burton on Trent.
