The
Constitution For
Plan
B Racing.
1.Name.
The name of the group shall be, Plan B Racing (PBR). BACK
2.Aim.
The aim of PBR is to work in partnership with organisations, community groups and individuals to provide further cycling opportunities in and around Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. BACK
3.Objectives.
3.1.Increase the opportunities to participate in cycling in and around Burton on Trent.
3.2.Make participation in cycling more accessible.
3.3.Encourage the development of youth and female cycling in the area.
3.4.Work in partnership with appropriate individuals and organisations to co-ordinate activities.
3.5.To help improve the health and well being of the residents of the local area.
3.6.Build links with local schools and colleges. BACK
4.Management
of the Group.
4.1.The aim of the group shall be directed by the Management of the Committee, which shall include a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Welfare Officer.
4.2.Membership
shall be open to anyone living/working in the area who is interested in helping
the group achieve its aims.
4.3.Officers
will be elected annually at an

to the constitution can be approved at an AGM or SGM and must be agreed by at
least two thirds of the group in attendance. BACK
5.Meeting
Of The Group.
5.1.Meetings
will be arranged as required.
5.2.PBR
shall hold an AGM in the month of November.
5.3.Every
member shall have a vote.
5.4.A
SGM may be called by the members to discuss an urgent matter, of which all
members will be given 14 days notice. BACK
6.Finances.
6.1.The
group will seek to raise money and contributions from a variety of sources to
fund the proposed aims.
6.2.The
group’s funds will be held in a bank account in the name of Plan B Racing.
6.3.
All
cheques drawn on the account must be signed by at least two nominated
signatories. BACK
7.Dissolution.
The
group may be dissolved at any time, if agreed by two thirds of a majority
present. All members should be given 14 days clear notice of the meeting. In the
event of dissolution any assets remaining after all debts have been paid, shall
be transferred to another institution or institutions having similar objectives,
as the group sees fit. BACK
8.Adoption of
Constitution.
